Besten has successfully delivered a high-performance tire shredder to Kenya, marking a strategic expansion of its footprint in the African market. As a core component of tire recycling systems, this equipment will enhance Kenya’s capacity to process end-of-life tires sustainably.
The exported shredder features wear-resistant cutting blades and an intelligent control system, enabling efficient processing of passenger car, truck, and OTR (Off-The-Road) tires. Its modular design facilitates transportation and on-site assembly while adapting to local operational conditions in Kenya. The machine produces uniform rubber chips that serve as feedstock for downstream granulation processes. These recycled materials can be repurposed for modified asphalt, sports surfaces, and rubber product manufacturing.
This project will significantly advance Kenya’s circular economy by transforming waste tires into valuable resources. Besten provides complementary remote technical guidance and maintenance protocols to ensure operational reliability. The solution addresses both environmental challenges—reducing landfill waste and pollution—and economic opportunities through material recovery.
Besten continues to strengthen its global presence in solid waste processing solutions, with this Kenya project demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development and technical expertise in emerging markets.
